SHIPPING
1. SHIPPING & CARRIERS
We deliver orders from Monday to Friday. Deliveries are not made on certain public holidays (you can get confirmation by sending an email to customerservice@boxpt.com). We guarantee delivery of an order if the address is a home or workplace and we do not deliver to PO boxes.
Preparation and dispatch of the order from the warehouse can take up to 7 working days (10 working days for large orders) after confirmation of payment.
After dispatch, the delivery time varies depending on the location and carrier, which can be found in point 3 below.
If you are not at the address to collect the parcel, the courier will leave a notice in your mailbox, by email to the email address associated with the parcel or by telephone contact associated with the parcel with the contact details of the nearest branch so that you can reschedule the delivery or collect the parcel from a pick-up point.
2. SHIPPING COSTS
Shipping costs are calculated automatically by our system and depend on the following factors:
– actual weight of the parcel;
– carrier tariffs, which are updated periodically;
– Customer’s shipping address.
If the customer wishes the delivery to take place on a floor of the building other than the entrance, there are costs charged by the partner transport company, which are not borne by BOXPT.
3. TRANSPORT TIMES
BOXPT Equipment works in partnership with transport companies so that the following dispatch times can be guaranteed. However, these may vary for reasons beyond BOXPT’s control.
– Mainland Portugal: 2 working days (5 working days for large orders);
– Islands: air delivery – 3 working days; sea delivery – 8 working days, leaving every Thursday;
– Spain: 3-4 working days (3-7 days for islands);
– France: 3-5 working days;
– England: 7-10 working days;
– Germany, Austria, Belgium, France, Holland, Italy, Luxembourg: 3-5 working days;
– Denmark, Finland, Ireland, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland: If the order is placed before 3pm, and after good collection, between 4 and 6 working days.
4. WAREHOUSE-PICK-UP
The ‘Warehouse pick-up’ option is available for orders placed in Portugal and the customer can opt for it at the checkout.
If you choose this option, you should wait for the logistics team to inform you that the order is ready for collection. In some cases, the customer service team may contact the customer to arrange the best time for collection.
The order must be picked up within 15 days of being notified by the logistics team and the order holder. If the order holder wishes a third party to make the collection, they must inform our team by emailing customerservice@boxpt.com in advance.
The invoice or order confirmation email must be presented to make the collection.
5. DELIVERY PROBLEMS
If the parcel has any anomalies when it is delivered, you must write down everything you have seen on the delivery note that will be presented to you by the courier. If for any reason you doubt the condition of the parcel, you have the right to refuse delivery. If this happens, please contact us immediately at customerservice@boxpt.com for more information on how to proceed.
If you receive the parcel and only then realise that the contents are damaged, please contact our team at customerservice@boxpt.com.
CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEAR
Orders placed between 25 December and 3 January may be delayed.
