5 WORKOUTS TO DO WITH A WEIGHT VEST
Wearing a Weight Vest can be an excellent choice for training outdoor, at home or in a place without gym equipment. The secret is to be creative! The Weight Vest is great for cardio and conditioning workouts. It adds weight to your body without restricting any movement and is very easy to put on and wear. Here are 5 workouts by our athlete and coach Ricardo Pereira that you can do using only a Weight Vest:
Hero WOD GUNNY
For time:
- 1 mile run
- 50 push-ups
- 50 sit-ups
- 1 mile run
- 50 push-ups
- 50 sit-ups
- 1 mile run
Hero WOD RILEY
For time:
- 1.5 mile run
- 150 burpees
- 1.5 mile run
Modified Annie
50-40-30-20-10
- Air squats
- Sit-ups
Tabata (20 “on, 10” off for 16 rounds)
- Round 1 – Push-ups
- Round 2 – Nasties
And so on, alternating between the two exercises.
